Since the organisation’s inception in 1956, the NZGFA has hosted an annual conference for all members. The regional branches each take turns to organise the conference – which features great speakers, workshops, business information sessions as well as networking and good fun.
This year saw the celebration of our 61st NZGFA conference – taking place at the Napier Conference Centre, Marine Parade, Napier from 9th – 11th July.
Thanks you to the Central Districts Conference Committee who put on a wonderful event.

"Spreading it RIGHT Home SAFE Every Night"
The 2018 conference theme is about doing the job right and making sure we are doing it safely and getting everyone home every night.
On the business side a programme is being prepared that will be interesting, informative and relevant to your business and times. The plan is to have a lot more positive information on the importance of training and a pathway for drivers to register their skill levels and achievements, enabling them to be recognised as the professionals that they are.
The organising team is working on several informative key speakers and an exciting entertainment programme including a themed night away from the venue that promises to be the highlight as usual.
There is plenty to see and do in the Deep South not forgetting our close cousins in Otago. The Bill Richardson Truck Museum and Motorcycle Mecca are a must see and it is our intention to visit one or both of these during the course of the conference.
Accommodation will be at the Ascot Park Hotel and it is large enough to host you all, however there are various other accommodation available if required.
The Otago/Southland branch invite you all to come South and make this conference a great event to remember.
